Interesses Científicos

My main current research interest is to make use of the empowerment provided by functional genomics to develop original, multidisciplinary approaches to link yeast evolution to phenotypic divergence, speciation and ecology. The focus is presently on Saccharomyces species. In addition, I am also keenly interested in the evolution of sexual system s I basidiomycetes, in particular within the red yeasts of the Sporidiobolales.
