On the occasion of International Microorganism Day (September 17), DCV took part in a UCIBIO hands-on event, featuring demonstrations and exhibits that showcased how microorganisms impact daily life. This showcase included activities explaining bacterial infections, antibiotic resistance and the Portuguese Yeast Culture Collection (PYCC) located at DCV.
